About Morley North Extended Services

Welcome to our new web site!

Who are Morley North Cluster?

The Morley North Cluster formed officially in May 2006 to support and provide Extended Services for children, young people and families. The Cluster obtained funding to appoint a Partnership Officer (Helen Moorby) to develop services and partnership working.
Morley North was the first Cluster to form in Morley. Bruntcliffe High, Asquith Primary, Morley Victoria, Churwell Primary, Gildersome Primary, Birchfield Primary and Drighlington Primary are seven schools working collaboratively to deliver extra services and support.
The Cluster is governed by a Steering Group made up of representatives from the Schools, Police, Early Years, Education Leeds, Youth Services, Local Councilor, Social Services and Health. The Steering Group are working together to provide and support services that are easily accessible, available and inclusive for all families.
Our aim is to provide access to wrap around childcare 8am-6pm, more community access to the school sites e.g. adult learning, parental support programmes, referral to outside services available in Morley and a menu of after school and school holiday activities.
We hope you find the website both informative and useful. To help us to help you we will welcome any feedback, comments or ideas about services or information you would like to see available.
Please feel free to visit our forum area and post your comments.
